Male Eyelid Surgery

Procedure :
The surgeon first evaluates the patient’s concerns and discusses the best approach to achieve the most satisfactory result. A provisional crease is marked around the eyelid area before surgery. The patient then takes oral medication and topical anaesthetic is applied around the eyes. The resulting scar is hidden within the new eyelid fold, producing a natural look that suits the male peri-orbital anatomy.

Who is double-eyelid surgery suitable for?

Have sagging upper lids that begin to obstruct vision as skin loses elasticity with age.

Things to know before do the surgery

The surgical scar is hidden within the new eyelid crease. Mild pain, swelling, and bruising around the eyes are common (especially during the first 1–2 days) but usually improve on their own with prescribed medication and proper after-care. As healing progresses, the scar gradually fades until it is virtually invisible.
Final results typically become clear at 6–12 months, depending on the individual. Although the face will continue to change with age, a well-performed double-eyelid procedure provides long-lasting, natural-looking results.
Post-operative complications are rare, particularly when surgery is performed by an experienced, board-certified ophthalmic surgeon.
